What does white-glove service cost?
Specialty items are quoted on their own, because the price depends on the piece and the path:
- Pianos, safes, and large art are quoted from a few photos, the rough size and weight, and the access at both homes (doorways, stairs, elevator). Items over about 250 pounds may carry specialty handling, and anything especially heavy or with risky access gets our fleet manager's sign-off before the day.
- Custom crates are measured and built by us and included in your quote.
The full rate table lives on one page, so it's always current: see Moving Cost at /moving-cost/.
Two things we always tell you up front, before you book: California requires Double Drive Time, so if the drive between your two homes is over 15 minutes, that drive time is counted twice. And the clock starts after you sign, never on the drive to your first stop. Everything, the rate, the crating, and any item-specific handling, shows on your quote before you commit.

-
What is white-glove moving?
White-glove moving is our highest level of care. Every item is wrapped and padded, the pieces that need it get custom crates, your floors and doorways are protected, and we place everything where you want it at the new home. It’s built for high-value, fragile, and specialty items like pianos, art, antiques, and designer furniture.
-
How much does white-glove moving cost?
The move itself is billed by the hour at the same all-inclusive rate as a regular move, based on crew size, with our best rate Monday through Thursday. Specialty items like pianos, safes, and large art are quoted on their own from a few photos and the access details. Custom crating is included in your quote. You can see the full rate table on our Moving Cost page, and the best way to get a real number is a quick free quote.

Do you move pianos?
Yes. We move uprights, baby grands, and grands with the right board, straps, and padding, and we plan for tight doorways, turns, and stairs ahead of time. Send us the type of piano and the access at both homes and we’ll size the crew and quote it.
-
Do you handle fine art, antiques, and museum pieces?
Yes. Paintings, sculpture, and antique and estate collections are handled by hand with padded corners, adjustable art boxes, and custom crates where the value calls for it. Send a few photos and we’ll bring the right materials.
-
Do you offer white-glove delivery, not just moving?
Yes. We deliver, receive, inspect, assemble, and place high-value items, and we work with interior designers, galleries, and showrooms. Tell us the items and the access and we’ll quote the delivery.
