Full-Service Moving — Transparent, All-Inclusive Pricing
Rate block:
- All-inclusive hourly rate: $229/hour (cash) · $239/hour (card)
- 3-hour minimum, billed in 15-minute increments after that
- The rate covers the full crew, the truck, all packing materials, blankets and wrap, tools, transport, and unpacking
What's billed separately (always disclosed up front):
- Extra-heavy items — gun safes, double-door refrigerators, and similar items carry an extra-heavy fee quoted in advance.
- Double Drive Time — a California state-mandated charge: if drive time between origin and destination exceeds 15 minutes, that drive time is doubled. We always disclose this before booking.
Reassurance line:
Billing starts only after your contract is signed — we don't charge for travel to your first location. For an exact quote on your specific move, a quick estimate is all it takes.

Move Runs

Honestly — Who Movers Best Isn't For
- You're optimizing purely on price. We pay our crews well because we screen hard and train them properly. If lowest price is the only factor, a budget mover will fit better.
- You expect rude treatment of service workers to be tolerated. Our crews are skilled professionals. If a job becomes hostile, we'll end it.
- The move involves biohazard exposure or anti-sanitary conditions. Hoarder-level situations or conditions that pose health risks to our crew aren't projects we'll quote.
Closing: We tell you this up front because we'd rather lose the booking than waste your time — or ours. If none of the above describes you, we'd love to handle your move.
Full-Service Moving — Frequently Asked Questions

-
What's included in a full-service move?
Everything. Professional packing of all your belongings, furniture wrapping and protection, disassembly, loading, transport in our own trucks, unloading, reassembly, and unpacking — arranged in your new home per your instructions. The only thing you do is tell us where things go.
-
What's the difference between full-service and standard moving?
Standard moving includes furniture wrapping, disassembly/reassembly, loading, transport, and unloading — but you pack and unpack your own boxes. Full service adds professional packing and unpacking, and typically runs a 4-person crew instead of 3.
-
How much do full-service movers cost?
Full-service moves are billed at one all-inclusive hourly rate — $229/hour cash or $239/hour card, with a 3-hour minimum and 15-minute increments after. The rate covers crew, truck, all packing materials, equipment, and unpacking. Extra-heavy items and California’s mandatory Double Drive Time are disclosed up front. For an exact total, request a quick estimate.
-
Do you pack and unpack everything?
Yes. Our crews pack all items — kitchenware, items on shelves, fragile belongings — using premium materials. At your new home, we unpack everything per your instructions so the place feels move-in ready.
-
Do you provide the boxes and packing materials?
Yes. All packing materials are included in the full-service rate. If you’d like boxes delivered before move day, we offer free delivery of premium-quality materials, billed separately and transparently.
-
How many movers come for a full-service move?
A full-service move is typically staffed with a 4-person crew and our largest available truck, so packing and moving are completed efficiently — usually in a single day. Larger homes may be scoped differently after an estimate.
-
Can full-service movers handle heavy or specialty items?
Yes — pianos, safes, marble tables, and similar specialty items are handled with the right crew and equipment. Items over 300 lbs are reviewed by our fleet manager in advance, and extra-heavy items carry a disclosed fee. We do not move items over 1,200 lbs, heavy machinery, or hazardous materials.
-
Is full service available for long-distance moves?
Yes. Full-service packing is especially valuable for long-distance moves, where belongings need to be packed to travel safely the first time. Long-distance jobs are priced after a virtual estimate.
