A family company that grew one good move at a time

Movers Best started in 2015 as a family-owned moving company in Orange County with a simple idea: moving is one of the most stressful days in a person's life, and the company handling it should make that day calmer, not worse. No games with the price, no crews that treat your furniture like freight, no disappearing when something needs fixing. Just show up on time, communicate clearly, and deliver exactly what was promised.
More than ten years and over 25,000 moves later, that idea has not changed. We have grown from a local Orange County outfit into a company with bases in Orange County and San Diego, a fleet of our own trucks, and crews that move families and businesses across all of Southern California. What got us here is not marketing; it is that four out of ten jobs on our schedule come from people who moved with us before, or were sent by someone who did.
We want to make you a life-long customer. That line is on our internal documents, and it is the actual business model: do the move so well that the next one, and your sister's, and your office's, come to us without a second thought.

The standard behind every move

The promises we make are checkable, which is the point:
The price is honest before you book.
Every quote is written. California's Double Drive Time is explained up front, never discovered on the bill. And the clock starts only after the contract is signed at your door; we never charge for the drive to you.
The crew is sized for safety, not for the lowest bid.
Heavy, fragile, and high-value items are planned from photos, and the riskiest jobs get our Fleet Manager's sign-off before move day.
Your things are treated like ours.
Every move includes blanket-wrapping, stretch wrap, floor and door protection, and disassembly and reassembly of standard furniture. Crews pack on site with real materials; we never drop off empty boxes for you to fill.
We answer, before and after.
Real people on the phone, clear communication through the move, and a team that handles it if something goes wrong, because in moving, how a company fixes things is the truest measure of it.

Our own trucks, fully equipped

We move you on company-owned 24 to 26 foot box trucks, licensed and insured in California, most with ramps and some with liftgates for especially heavy pieces. Every truck rolls with the full kit: moving blankets and shrink wrap to protect furniture and floors, ratchet straps so nothing shifts in transit, dollies for the heavy items, and toolsets for the disassembly and reassembly that come standard with every job. It is not glamorous, but it is why your dresser arrives looking like your dresser.

Services

Commercial Movers

Offices, retail, and warehouses moved on your schedule, including nights and weekends. We handle the COIs, the elevator windows, and the employee crate packing.

Long-Distance Movers

Our own trucks, our own crews, straight delivery to Phoenix, Las Vegas, the Bay Area, Portland, Dallas, and more. Video walkthrough, flat written quote, no brokers.

Packing Services

Full or partial packing with materials included, done on site by the crew the morning of your move. Fragile items get individual wrapping and labeled placement.

Moving and Storage

When your dates don’t line up, we bridge the gap. Overnight holds, weeks, or months. Your things stay on our trucks or in climate-managed storage until you’re ready.

White Glove Movers

Pianos, marble, art, wine collections, antiques, and safes. Photo-first planning, custom wrapping, safe-sized crews, and heavy items priced by weight class on the written quote.

Two bases, all of Southern California

We operate from two locations. Our Orange County base covers Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire, with crews in and out of Irvine, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Anaheim, and every city between. Our San Diego base covers San Diego County. Long-distance, we run straight-delivery moves out of Southern California on our own trucks, with regular corridors across the West.

Where we are headed: the plan is to keep growing the fleet and the team, cover all of California, and eventually serve most of the West Coast, holding the same standard that built the reviews.

Family-owned, and you can tell

Plenty of companies say family-owned; here is what it means in practice. The owners are in the business every day, not in another state. The dispatch decisions, the crew standards, and the way a claim gets handled all run through people whose name is on the company. When we support causes like Miracles for Kids, it is because this is our community too, we live where we work. And when something on a move is not right, it gets made right, because a family business in its own hometown cannot afford to be the company people warn their neighbors about, and more importantly, does not want to be.

Honestly, who we are not

We are not the cheapest bid you will get, and we are comfortable with that; experienced, insured crews and real materials cost more than a gig app, and they are the reason the reviews read the way they do. We are not a broker either: when you book Movers Best, your move happens on our trucks with our crews, including long-distance, where we run straight delivery instead of handing your household to a stranger's network. And we are not a company that promises everything to everyone; the service pages on this site say plainly what we do, what has conditions, and what we refer out. If that kind of straight talk is what you want in a mover, we will get along fine.
