Office movers who plan for Monday morning

An office move has one real success metric: your team walks in Monday and gets to work. So that's what we plan for. Crates delivered early with labels keyed to the new floor plan, employees packing their own desks, our crew packing everything else, workstations photographed and bundled before they come apart, IT reconnected on the same schedule, and every crate at the right desk before eight. Internal reshuffles, suite-to-suite moves, and full headquarters relocations all run on the same system, from a twelve-person office in Costa Mesa to a multi-floor move in Irvine.
Tell us your headcount, your two dates, and whether you have a floor plan for the new space. If you don't have one yet, we'll help you build the labeling around what you do have.

Every kind of office move

Suite-to-suite & small offices.
Ten to thirty people, one evening or one weekend, crates delivered early and picked up after. The most common office move we do, and the one that gets treated like it's routine, because for us it is.
Headquarters relocations.
Multi-floor, multi-department, phased across weekends so no team is fully offline. One project schedule, one point of contact, IT and building coordination built in.
Internal moves & reshuffles.
Floor to floor, department swaps, new seating plans. Same crate-and-label system, usually a single evening, no truck required.
Furniture resets & workstation systems.
Cubicles and panel systems photographed, tagged, and bundled before they come apart, rebuilt to the new layout while your team is out.

What makes office moves different

How an office move actually works, desk by desk

Here's the version we give office managers on the first call. A few days before the move, crates show up: durable plastic totes on wheeled dollies, no cardboard, no tape guns. Every crate gets a label keyed to the new floor plan, so "3B-14" means third floor, zone B, desk 14, and it means the same thing to your employee packing it, to our crew loading it, and to the person unloading it at the other end. Employees pack their own desks, drawers, and personal items into their crates, usually the afternoon before. We pack everything else: the supply room, the kitchen, the file room, common areas, the stuff nobody owns. Then the classic window: your team leaves Friday at five, we load Friday night and Saturday, your IT vendor reconnects Sunday, and Monday at eight everything is where the floor plan says it should be, crates at every desk, ready to unpack. A week later we come back for the empties. That's the whole shape of it, and the shape doesn't change much whether it's twelve people or two hundred; the schedule just gets longer.

Workstations, furniture, and the heavy stuff

Office furniture is its own trade. Cubicle and workstation systems come apart in a specific order and go back together in the same one, so we photograph, tag, and bundle every panel and connector before the first one comes off the wall. Lateral file cabinets get emptied or locked and moved as the heavy items they are, with the crew sized for them, not for the desk next to them. Conference tables get their tops separated from their bases. Safes, plotters, and anything over the weight line get a photo-first plan and extra-heavy handling on the written schedule. Monitors and docking stations are bagged, labeled with the desk tag, and ride in their own padded crates. One honest note about copiers: if yours is leased, the leasing company usually insists on moving it themselves, and we'll schedule around them. Servers and network gear stay in your IT vendor's hands from disconnect to reconnect; we move the racks and the cabinets, they own what's inside.

Internal moves, reshuffles, and furniture resets

Not every office move needs a truck. A lot of our work in Irvine and Newport Beach is a department moving from the third floor to the fourth, a seating plan that changed after a hire, or a floor that's getting reconfigured around a new layout. These run on the same crate-and-label system, usually in a single evening, and they're billed hourly since there's no route to plan. Furniture resets are the same idea: we break down, move, and rebuild the workstations to a new plan while your team is out, and they walk in Monday to a floor that matches the drawing. Fast, quiet, and no one loses their monitor.

What else office managers ask us

How long will it take? A rough scale we'd stand behind: an office of ten or so is one evening, thirty to fifty is a weekend, and a hundred or more gets phased across weekends so nobody's whole team is offline at once. We'll give you the real number on the written schedule. What about the old furniture? We're movers, not a disposal or liquidation service, but we'll coordinate the timing with your liquidator or e-waste vendor so the old suite is empty when your lease says it has to be. Do you handle the building paperwork? Yes, both buildings, certificates of insurance and elevator windows included; the commercial hub page walks through that. For hourly jobs, California's Double Drive Time applies when the drive between locations runs over 15 minutes, and it's on the schedule before you sign. And where? Orange County first, Irvine, Newport Beach, and Costa Mesa most weeks, plus Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Inland Empire, with crews dispatching from our Irvine headquarters. If your office has a floor plan and a date, we can plan it.

What do office movers cost?

Office moves are priced from a walkthrough, on site or by video, as a written project schedule with crew size, truck count, crate delivery, and a flat or not-to-exceed number your finance team can approve before move day. Internal moves, small suites, and furniture resets usually run hourly at one all-inclusive rate by crew size: crew, trucks, crates, wrapping, and standard disassembly and reassembly included, 3-hour minimum. Monday through Thursday carries our discounted weekday rate. For hourly work, California requires Double Drive Time when the drive between locations runs over 15 minutes, and it appears on your schedule in advance. After-hours and weekend windows are scheduled at the same terms around your building's rules, and building fees such as dock deposits are passed through at cost.

Send a floor plan, a headcount, and your two dates for a written number.

Honestly, who we are not the right fit for

We'd rather be straight with you. If you need two guys and a van to shift a few desks across a hallway for the lowest possible number, a gig platform might do it. We run insured crews with a crate system, a written schedule, and building coordination, and that costs more. We also aren't an IT installer, a furniture dealer, or a liquidator; we coordinate with all of them and move around them. But if you need thirty people to sit down Monday morning and find their monitor, their files, and their coffee mug exactly where they expected, that's us.
