Services
Commercial Movers
Offices, retail, and warehouses moved on your schedule, including nights and weekends. We handle the COIs, the elevator windows, and the employee crate packing.
Long-Distance Movers
Our own trucks, our own crews, straight delivery to Phoenix, Las Vegas, the Bay Area, Portland, Dallas, and more. Video walkthrough, flat written quote, no brokers.
Packing Services
Full or partial packing with materials included, done on site by the crew the morning of your move. Fragile items get individual wrapping and labeled placement.
Moving and Storage
When your dates don’t line up, we bridge the gap. Overnight holds, weeks, or months. Your things stay on our trucks or in climate-managed storage until you’re ready.
White Glove Movers
Pianos, marble, art, wine collections, antiques, and safes. Photo-first planning, custom wrapping, safe-sized crews, and heavy items priced by weight class on the written quote.

How pricing works for institutions
Built for approvals, not surprises:
- Project moves are quoted from the walkthrough. Exhibits, labs, and campus projects get a written scope and price your approval chain can sign off on, before anything is booked.
- Smaller jobs run hourly, at one all-inclusive rate based on crew size, with wrapping, basic tools, and standard disassembly and reassembly included, a 3-hour minimum, then 15-minute steps.
- Extra-heavy pieces are on the quote by weight class, never discovered on move day.
Two standard notes. Monday through Thursday is our discounted weekday rate, which matters on multi-day institutional projects. And California requires Double Drive Time on local hourly work: if the drive between sites is over 15 minutes, that drive time is counted twice, disclosed on the quote before booking. Depending on the job, a trip fee may apply, and if it does it shows on the quote.
For general price tables, see Moving Cost; for a project number, book a walkthrough.
Why Movers Best
We move on your calendar, not ours
Institutions do not close for movers, so we work around the institution: evenings and weekends when the building is quiet, around public and visitor hours, between semesters and during summer breaks on campuses, and in phases when a collection has to stay partially accessible. On multi-phase projects you keep one contact from the first walkthrough to the last placement, and if a collection is relocating out of the region, we run long-distance moves on regular Western lanes with the same crating and inventory standards. See Long-Distance Movers for how those runs work, and Office Movers for the workspace side of a campus or facility project.

Museum moving FAQ

-
Do you actually move museums and exhibits?
Yes. We move exhibits, display cases, archives, and sensitive collections, and we bring the same institutional experience we have built moving universities, schools, and laboratories across Southern California, including UC Irvine. Every collection move starts with a walkthrough, gets a written plan and quote, and runs with custom crating, itemized inventory, and crews sized for the pieces involved.
-
Have you moved universities and labs before?
Yes. UC Irvine is one of the institutions we have moved, along with other universities, schools, and laboratories. Campus and lab moves are their own discipline: academic calendars, loading-dock windows, sensitive equipment, and departments that cannot go dark for long. We plan the sequence with your facilities or lab manager so the move fits the institution, not the other way around.
-
How do you protect fragile and irreplaceable items?
Fragile and high-value pieces get padded, custom or adjustable crating and travel upright, never flat or stacked. Everything is labeled and listed on an itemized inventory as it leaves and arrives, floors and doorways are protected at both ends, and heavy pieces like stone pedestals and oversized cases run through our photo-first, safe-crew process with Fleet Manager sign-off on the riskiest items.
-
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our building or campus?
Yes. We carry the full insurance coverage California requires of movers, and issuing a certificate of insurance naming your institution or property manager as additional insured is standard practice. We also coordinate elevator reservations, dock windows, and campus access requirements with your facilities team before move day.
-
Can you move us after hours or around our public schedule?
Yes. We schedule around visitor hours, evenings, weekends, and academic calendars, and we phase multi-stage projects so collections or departments stay as accessible as you need. Worth knowing for budgeting: Monday through Thursday is our discounted weekday rate, which adds up on multi-day projects.

How is an institutional move priced?
Project moves are quoted in writing from a walkthrough, so your approval process has a real scope and a real number before anything is booked. Smaller jobs run hourly at one all-inclusive rate by crew size with a 3-hour minimum. Extra-heavy pieces appear on the quote by weight class, and California’s Double Drive Time on local hourly work (drive time between sites over 15 minutes counted twice) is disclosed up front. General tables are on our moving cost page; institutional numbers come from the walkthrough.
